TORONTO, June 15, 2017 — LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) honoured its industry partners, suppliers and agents for their innovation, creativity and commitment to customer service and social responsibility at the Elsie Awards held in Toronto on June 14th. The Elsies are an industry awards program, initiated by the LCBO, now in their 23rd year.
Andros Communications and its Managing Director, Ted Kalaboukis, were recognized with the Best Niche Marketing Award, for on-going and successful collaboration with the LCBO for the launch of the LCBO German Wine Specialty Store in Waterloo, Ontario on October 6, 2016. The store features up to 50 new German wines, many only available on consignment.
“While all of LCBO’s trade partners contribute to our success, the Elsie Awards give us the opportunity to recognize those who have set themselves apart by going above and beyond to deliver excellence,” said Carolyn O’Grady Gold, Acting Vice President, Products, Sales and Merchandising, LCBO and co-chair of the Elsies.
Andros Communications has represented Wines of Germany in Canada since 2009.
